Health & Social Care Research Across North East & North Cumbria.

Neurological Disorders

Meet the Team

Neurology, encompassing conditions that impact the brain and spinal cord, such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, headache and migraine, neuro-muscular diseases, neurological infections, such as encephalitis and any other conditions which would impact the normal function of the nervous system.

There are many crossovers with the dementias and neurodegeneration specialty, where the care and treatment of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease and Huntington’s disease may require neurological specialist knowledge.
